posters, music ect. , check out The
Elvis Movie Guide, also from the great First

Elvis' most popular movie and "King Creole"(1958) Elvis' best movie, were
he played Danny Fisher, a roll originally made for made for James Dean,
but after his death it was given to Elvis. Elvis received very good critics
for his performance in "King Creole", and many thought that he had the
potential of becoming a really good actor.

Elvis was always surrounded by lots of gourgeous women in these movies.
Elvis'

Night with You with a great Elvis-Homepage index in national order
(including this one!) and lots of other stuff.
Other great male voices I admire: Mr. Frank
Sinatra, the ol' blue eyes. Who can stop themselfs from joining
in on "New York, New York" or "Strangers in the night". Here in a picture
with the King himself, taken from "The Frank Sinatra Timex Special - Welcome
home Elvis" broadcasted on the 12. of May 1960, just after Elvis'
homecoming from Germany. At this show Elvis sang his new single "Stuck
On You / Fame and Fortune" and "Witchcraft", and he recieved 125.000$ for
performing the three songs. It's said that Mr. Sinatra wasen't very found
of Elvis. He thouhgt he could not sing (Big mistake!) and he diden't like
them Pelvis-moves at all. Once he claimed that "Rock'n Roll music was phony
and fake", but like others he had to eat his words since this show was
a great chance for him to raise the rather slippering number of viewers
for his TV-show; and it did!

When ever I hear the song "It's Not Unusual" from 1965, song by Mr.
Tom Jones, I want to "...smoke, drink and dance the Hoochy-coo". Tom and
Elvis were quite good friends, and Elvis really did like Mr. Jones´
music. Here's a link to The
Tom Jones "The Voice" Fan Club and to the great Elvis
meets Tom homepage where can hear them sing together!. Last there
is Mr. White Christmas Crooner himself, Mr. Bing
Crosby who sang this ever popular, and one of my favourite, X-mas
song. Also the late Mr. John
Denver with his "Perhaps
Love". We should not forget the band that inspired me for
the title of this, and many, many other hompages, the
Beach Boys.
