- The Meeting with the Presley Brothers face to face (they
were the lucky once!):
On this page you could until the 21/6 read
the following statement:
" You now have a one in a lifetime
opportunity to meet the Presley Brothers, in person!
The Presley Brothers will be at this years Roskilde Festival 98
in Denmark from the 25-28 of June. They will be somewhere on the camping-area
from the 22- 24 of June, by a big white flag carrying Elvis's face
and the text: "Euroregion Elvis" in black.. They will be
there at their tent from 9-11 a.m, so if you are coming their
way, feel free to pay they a visit for a fantalk or an autograph; but come
early, there might be line! "
And indeed some used the offer to fullfill their dreams. The Euroregion
Elvis-Camp was this year placed were central on the camping area, behind
the DeeDay-scene, on the corner just near the bridge. Because of this location
people came into the camp paying their respects to The King, to the Elvis-flag
and to the Presley Brothers, with spontaneus "Long live the King(s)!"
or "Elvis is alive!"(yesterdays news! red.). Journalists took
pictures of the flag and camp, and some German TV-station
film the flag too, unfortunatly we diden't catch the stations name, so
keep you eyes and ears open all you German Fans!
Because of the succes this year, The Presley Brothers are thinking about
repeating the event next year (1-4 july) perhaps this time including special
performences, who knows?
